130/376 - Gastineau Channel from Mt. Roberts

Juneau - Gastineau Channel
“We're so busy watching out for what's just ahead of us that we don't take time to enjoy where we are.”     ~Calvin & Hobbes
After we saw the Mendenhall glacier we went back to Juneau and took the Mt. Roberts tram up 1800 feet to the visitor center there (the mountain itself is 3819 ft.). We had a nice dinner walked around a bit and then went back into town and headed back to the ship. On the way back down, as Diane tried desperately not to look out, I snapped this shot. If you follow this link you will see a view down into Juneau. My picture is looking way over towards the left of the one at the Mt. Roberts website.
